Spoon a Day Challenge, Make 365 Clay Spoons in 2015: Day 79, Fish Friday

Here is my best attempt at a sunfish. I hope that it is up to snuff for all of those fishing experts out there. I certainly don’t know much about different types of fish. Just two more Fish Fridays for lent!

Spoon a Day Challenge, Make 365 Clay Spoons in 2015: Day 78, Take Three

I find that some days I really don’t feel like doing the daily creative exercise that I have committed to. I deal with this by making multiples instead of just the one. I’m not sure why it works for me, but I have found that it helps me power through the feelings of complacency. This is not to say that every time you see me post multiples that I don’t feel like making the daily spoon. Sometimes I make multiples because I just want to! But not today, today I had to power through. It just feels better to do three when you don’t even feel like doing one. 🙂

Spoon a Day Challenge, Make 365 Clay Spoons in 2015: Day 71

Textured coffee scoop with hollow handle.

I made another cat spoon today, but I made a “safe” coffee scoop to post instead. This is the third time I have made one and didn’t have the guts to post it. I just look at them and they look so silly! I don’t know, maybe one day I will be brave enough to post it whether I hate it or not!

Spoon a Day Challenge, Make 365 Clay Spoons in 2015: Day 70

Spring is in the air! I had a nice walk with my good friend today and for the first time this year, I felt that spring was definitely on the way.

Today’s spoon is small with a loopy handle and photographed in front of some emerging spring bulbs. Happy Spring!
