Totem Pole Project

We finally got to assemble the totem pole project that we have been working on for so long! I am so pleased with how it turned out. All it needs now is to be glued and transported to Weber Art Gallery for the Art as Memory art opening. I’m so proud of my St. Mary’s Center group for working so hard on this collaboration.

Special Needs Adults Pottery Class: Totem Pole Group Project

My class has been working diligently on a totem pole for a group project for an art show that is coming up. Here are some of the pieces that we will be glazing soon so that we can then assemble!

These are the toppers that we made. Each student made a triangle to create the three-sided topper.
These are some of the totem pieces made by each student. The students made their individualized totem piece by including personal interests and activities. We will end up with two totem poles that are each about 4 feet tall.
