The show is up! I am so grateful to 5-0-Lou on Frankfort Avenue in Louisville, KY for giving me the venue to display my 365 day project. They recently opened up their store and it looks amazing! It is a terrific location and they are wonderful to work with to boot! Thank you guys! It is so incredible to finally see the whole project on display. It will be up through June 15th, 2016.
Skinny handled spoon with light texture.
Textured, medium sized spoon. In the background, you see a yearbook from WKU…and NO, I am NOT in that yearbook. 😉
Coil-built spoon. Making this one has made me think of making some spoons with hieroglyphs. I have always found Egyptian art and writing to be interesting.
Spoon two of two. “Yang”. Yang represents all things bright, positive and male. Hmmm…
This spoon has a small hole for your finger in the narrow part at the top. And also a pic of the two together.
Marbled “Little Loafers” white clay and “Speckled Brownstone” clay. I will use clear glaze to finish this one so that the marbling can be seen. This is about 6″ long.
Sweet little textured spoon.
