I just love texture, can you tell? Today’s daily spoon/creative challenge is mid-sized and highly textured. Created from one piece of clay. The parts that look like peacock feathers are made with a seashell.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Today’s spoon has a whimsical feel and green dots made with underglaze. After it is glaze fired, the clay will be white and the green underglaze dots will be brighter and greener.
Very simple spoon created from one piece of clay with a squarish handle. Good for porridge.
I am experimenting with a narrow handle. I am concerned that it will be too fragile to hold up to much use. I will test it out. I love the sleek lines it has! I again used the darker clay that looks so much like chocolate in its leather hard stage.
You get more than you bargained for today! I made three today, just for the heck of it. I really like the mismatched set.
10″ of snow at our house today. Harry did NOT care for it. Waits for someone to shovel him a place to potty.
And today’s spoon is a ladle with puffy handle!
Large, twisty-handled spoon.
It is the second Friday of Lent, and my second Fish Friday Spoon! This one is made with the spoon bowl as the body of the fish. I look forward to glazing the little bugger.
Experimenting with a more narrow neck. I think it may make it fragile, but I will try it out.
