Chartreuse, blue and black will be the colors this spoon will sport after it gets its clear glaze. The colors will be much more bright. Right now, the chartreuse doesn’t really show well, but it will be quite vibrant after firing.
I went to my first musical tonight with a good friend who invited me on the spur of the moment. The show was fantastic! Quite the spectacle! Thank you, A, for asking me to go!
Tonight’s spoon is speckled brownstone with curly handle.
This spoon will have a wooden handle added to it after it is fired. It won’t be the one pictured, though. I will have to hunt around and find the perfect fit.
Went for a walk tonight in the beautiful E.P. Tom Sawyer Park. We saw 5 turkeys, a few deer and several hawks. The weather was so wonderful! I just love these warm evenings with the smell of honeysuckle in the air.
Bumblebee scoop with meadow:
Spoon handle texture made from the silver ring that is often in my spoon photos. The ring was my mom’s when she was a teenager. She must have had teeny tiny hands back then, because it only fits on my pinky. 🙂
I just can’t help myself. I use this shell texture all the time! I really love the result.
Super sensory surface serving spoon.
