Spoon one of two. “Yin”. Apparently Yin means all things dark, negative, shadowy and female? Harsh. This spoon has a hole for your finger in the narrow part at the bottom. Tune in tomorrow for “Yang”.
Marbled “Little Loafers” white clay and “Speckled Brownstone” clay. I will use clear glaze to finish this one so that the marbling can be seen. This is about 6″ long.
Double bowled, very rustic spoon. For the manly man in your life.
Sweet little textured spoon.
Hollow handled and textured spoon.
I’ll admit that I have made several cat spoons. The problem is that when I try to photograph them, I just hate (I mean hate) the result. Needless to say, those cat spoons didn’t survive. I was just too embarrassed to post them! So now I’ve done this dog spoon. I like it okay. I like it well enough to actually post the pics and let it survive the fate of the cat spoons. I don’t know, maybe I’m just not meant to do cat spoons…
Earth Day spoon! The idea here is that the bowl part of the spoon is earth and the handle is a sprout, sprouting out of the earth. It will be a lot darker after it is fired and the design will be more clear. One more thing to note is….this is NOT A WHALE!
Cute, tiny little spoon. Salt spoon? Sugar spoon? Maybe it is a large spoon for a dollhouse. 🙂
